The Arunachal Pradesh government has announced a 3% hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) for its 68,818 regular employees and retirees, effective from July 1, 2024. This increase, which raises DA and DR from 50% to 53%, was announced by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Wednesday. The decision is aligned with the Central government's policy and aims to support state government employees, All India Service Officers working in Arunachal Pradesh, Central Government employees on deputation, and pensioners.

Additionally, House Rent Allowance (HRA) has been increased to 30% for X category towns, 20% for Y category towns, and 10% for Z category towns, helping to ease the living costs for employees.

The total financial burden of this move from July 2024 to March 2025 is estimated to be ₹63.92 crore. Deputy CM Mein emphasized that this decision reflects the government's commitment to the welfare of employees and retirees, ensuring they receive the support they deserve.

अरुणाचल प्रदेश सरकार ने अपने 68,818 नियमित कर्मचारियों और सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारियों के लिए डियरनेस अलाउंस (डीए) और डियरनेस रिलीफ (डीआर) में 3% की बढ़ोतरी की घोषणा की है। यह बढ़ोतरी 1 जुलाई 2024 से लागू होगी।

उपमुख्यमंत्री चownा माइन ने बुधवार को इस निर्णय की जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि यह निर्णय केंद्रीय सरकार की नीति के अनुरूप है और इसका उद्देश्य राज्य सरकार के कर्मचारियों, अरुणाचल में कार्यरत आल इंडिया सर्विस अधिकारियों, राज्य में प्रतिनियुक्त केंद्रीय सरकारी कर्मचारियों और पेंशनरों को लाभ पहुंचाना है।

इस बढ़ोतरी के साथ डीए और डीआर 50% से बढ़कर 53% हो जाएगा, जिससे कर्मचारियों को वित्तीय सहायता मिलेगी।

इसके अलावा, हाउस रेंट अलाउंस (एचआरए) को श्रेणी के आधार पर बढ़ाया गया है: X श्रेणी के शहरों के लिए 30%, Y श्रेणी के लिए 20%, और Z श्रेणी के लिए 10%, जिससे कर्मचारियों के जीवनयापन की लागत को कम करने में मदद मिलेगी।

इस निर्णय से वित्तीय दायित्व ₹63.92 करोड़ होने का अनुमान है, जो जुलाई 2024 से मार्च 2025 के बीच लागू होगा। उपमुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि यह कदम उन लोगों की भलाई के प्रति सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाता है जिन्होंने सेवा की है, ताकि उन्हें वह समर्थन और संसाधन मिल सकें जिनके वे हकदार हैं।
