Arunachal Pradesh Government Increases Dearness Allowance and House Rent Allowance for Employees and Pensioners Image taken from web.  The Arunachal Pradesh government has announced a 3% hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) for its 68,818 regular employees and retirees, effective from July 1, 2024. This increase, which raises DA and DR from 50% to 53%, was announced by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Wednesday. The decision is aligned with the Central government's policy and aims to support state government employees, All India Service Officers working in Arunachal Pradesh, Central Government employees on deputation, and pensioners. Additionally, House Rent Allowance (HRA) has been increased to 30% for X category towns, 20% for Y category towns, and 10% for Z category towns, helping to ease the living costs for employees.
